Perfectly Preserved Podcast Ep 61 - Our Review of Pur Mason

In this episode we take a deep dive into the brand Pur Mason. I first saw this companies products during the pandemic. This company is based out of Colorado and the products are made in California, hooray! We love a US based company.

There are a lot of things to love about the company.

First, Pur Mason has a thicker tin plated steel lid than other lid on the market. This is important because a quality lid will last longer. Many testing, including Swiss testing, is part of their quality control. The lid also has a longer edging on the side to prevent slippage on the top of the jar.

Secondly, the jars and lids are American made. 

Thirdly, it's a small company with EXCELLENT customer service. Back in 2021 I purchased a LOT of lids because they were the only ones that I could find in stock in my area. A couple of the boxes didn't have exterior damage but inside the lids were smashed on top of each other making them unusable for canning. I contacted the company and was immediately taken care of by a customer service representative. Not only did they reimburse me but they also sent replacements. WOW! 

Lastly, the CEO does preserving and his own home testing of the products. Let me tell you, that does not happen at other companies, most CEO's are very far removed from their products.
