Perfectly Preserved Podcast Ep 55 - Managing Canning Overwhelm
Some of the overwhelm that comes from preserving food is what stops subsequent generations from picking up this hobby. Jenny and I want everyone to be able to be comfortable canning, dehydrating, and pressure canning in your own kitchen and with your family. It's vital that when you're preserving that even though it may be hard at times, it's worth it.
So, we have given you lots of ideas that we use in our own kitchens for managing overwhelm and stress. Some tips include using your crockpot or planning meals ahead so your focus can be on the canning job at hand, another is to make sure you have all the supplies necessary BEFORE you start the recipe.
